All the chapters are done in full colors, and despite the art being a bit messy sometimes, it is still pretty satisfying to read in color. The art is pretty much the only thing that is even remotely commendable in the series. Like, what are they even thinking with this series? The characters all behave as if the first Episode G never even happened. Its kinda understandable since Episode G was envisioned exactly to expand on the gold saints, so they had to give more depth to these characters.įor some weird reason though, all that development is just completely ignored here in Assassin. If you read the first Episode G, you already know that the characters are kinda different to how they were in the original Saint Seiya series. Bland dialogs, poorly written characters, horrible plot points (I'm doing my best not to spoil you guys here. It is bad and keeps getting worse somehow. But thats not all.Ĭompared to the first series, that had a really solid story that was poorly executed towards the end, this one is just a complete mess from the start and never recovers from it. My biggest complaint is that despite being a sequel to the first Episode G, all the development from the first series is just thrown into the dumpster for who knows why.
